Finished the book and was amazed! It made me smile when I found familiarity and knew that I was “getting it”.  The plotline, character development, and imagery were masterful.  It really took me back to memories of names and places of which I have been long missing.  Couldn’t put it down and can’t wait to start the sequel tonight!  T. OFF THE AIR: A Pat Cassidy Novel:  Garth has created a new protagonist who is well fleshed out and believable. The story line flowed smoothly without getting bogged down in minutia. Local author E.P. Garth’s “Off the Air” A Pat Cassidy Novel, is truly a great read. The book really... has a good voice and Garth’s imagery takes the reader deep into the State of Texas. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in well written Contemporary Southern Literature.  Waylon Salter
